Do you want to maintain your energy, resilience and vitality as you age?

Are you interested in the science of how nutrition and lifestyle can influence the way our cells respond?

NewLight was created to explore an emerging field of health science: nutrigenomics, and the ways we can support our body's own cellular pathways.

Healthy ageing isn't about searching for a fountain of youth.

It's about supporting the biology that helps us function well throughout life.

SUPPORTING HEALTH FROM THE INSIDE OUT

Our health is influenced by many factors, including nutrition, movement, sleep, stress and the environment around us.

At the cellular level, our bodies are constantly responding and adapting to these influences.

Nutrigenomics explores the relationship between nutrition, our gene expression and cellular function, helping us understand how particular nutrients and plant compounds can influence biological pathways.

Supporting these pathways is one part of a broader approach to maintaining energy, resilience and wellbeing throughout life.

Small choices, consistently made, can help support healthier ageing from the inside out.

MEET DR GAIL PEARSON

Dr Gail Pearson is a New Zealand-trained medical specialist with a longstanding interest in cellular health, healthy ageing and nutrigenomics.

Her work explores how supporting the body's own cellular defence, repair and renewal pathways can contribute to health, resilience and vitality as we age.

NewLight reflects an earlier chapter of Gail's work and continues to provide information about nutrigenomics and cellular health.
